Dateline: Rio Rancho:

According to a report in the Albuquerque Journal, the Rio Rancho city council has voted to revise the city’s impact fee ordinance. The change would reduce the fee for residential development by 50 percent and for commercial projects by 100 percent — for two years.

Councilors must approve two readings of the revised ordinance before it can take effect, according to the report.
