Albuquerque’s Mesa del Sol is partnering with the Hard Rock Casino to give away a free home, according to a report in the Albuquerque Journal.

The house, built by Rachel Matthew Homes, is valued at $194,900, organizers say. The 1,358-square-foot house includes stainless steel appliances, a gas fireplace and an attached two-car garage.

People can enter to win the house at Mesa del Sol’s model homes or at the casino. The winner will be announced at the casino March 30.

“This is a great opportunity for a family to move into the hottest new neighborhood in the city for free,” said Chris Anderson, vice president of development at Mesa del Sol.

Mesa del Sol said this week that it is breaking ground on 109 new homes. The master-planned community on the Southwest Mesa will eventually have 37,000 homes.
